A Simple, Yet Profound Depiction of Salvation
I Thess. 5:9
"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,"
Here's a cartoon of the concept of salvation. Enjoy and the may the Lord Jesus Christ bless you!
(Mat 7:13) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide gate, and broad the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
(Psa. 38:4) For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
(1 Cor. 1:18 ) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
(Prov. 14:12) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
(Jas. 4:4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
(Prov. 16:25) There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
(1 Sam. 15:22b) Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
(Gen. 4:4) And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: (Gen 4:5) But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
(Matt. 16:24) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
(Gal. 6:7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(Rom. 8:34) Who is he that condemneth? Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
(1 Tim. 2:5) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Tim. 2:6) Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
(John 14:6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 3:5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (Joh 3:6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (Joh 3:7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
